Krakow can be reached by plane through the John Paul II International Airport in Balice. About 20 airlines fly to and from Krakow including British Airways, Alitalia, Germanwings, LOT, Lufthansa, and cheap airlines such as SkyEurope, Ryanair, easyJet, and centralwings.
When choosing a flight, please consider that you can get to Krakow either from Balice airport as a destination or from Pyrzowice airport (near Katowice, 80km from Krakow) or Warsaw (Chopin Airport). If you decide to land in Pyrzowice, there is a special bus that will get you to Krakow and back. If you land in Warsaw, you will have to go by train, which takes about three hours to Krakow.

You can also travel to Krakow by train from major Polish cities such as Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk and most cities in Europe. There is a direct connection from Berlin, Vienna, Prague, etc.

The closest bus stop is called “Most Grunwaldzki”

The 52 tram can get you to the Most Grunwaldzki stop right from the Lubicz stop situated close to the Krakow Main Station.
